After the declaration of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 at the 2019 UN Climate Action Summit, carbon neutrality has become a global topic as the best way to overcome the climate crisis.
They are now at a turning point towards a carbon-neutral society. Countries around the world are revising large-scale government policies and laws, expanding support for eco-friendly investments while competing to develop eco-friendly technologies and infrastructure. At the same time, the role of individuals as well as corporations is being strengthened.
Eligibilities
•Middle and high school students from any country
•Grades between 7th and 12th in the U.S. education system or equivalent on May 31, 2023 (Last year, students from 46 countries participated in.)

Word limit: Your essay must be shorter than 1,300 words in English or 800 words or less in Korean
excluding title, footnotes, bibliography or references
